What is the procedure for registering an employee?
Within 15 days of the Act’s applicability, the Factory or Establishment must register on the ESIC Portal, www.esic.in. The employer must register by supplying the following information: factory/establishment name, address, principal employer’s name, bank account, PAN, use of power in the case of factory, state and region, and e-mail address. A user ID and password would be sent to the employer’s email address if he tried to register. Employers can access www.esic.in with a web browser. His email address can be used as a user ID, and the password he receives in the mail box can be used to register his unit in the Portal by giving information.
Is PF and ESI mandatory?
With the implementation of SPICe+, all new firms incorporated after February 23, 2020 will be required to register for EPFO and ESIC, and no EPFO and ESIC registrations will be provided individually by the respective agencies.
Can I withdraw ESI amount?
ESI is a premium that is paid in exchange for medical benefits. There is no possibility to withdraw money from an ESI account if no advantage is derived from it.
